Hastening the Work in Africa and at Home
Elder and Sister McGraw are currently serving a full-time mission in their home stake, the Provo Sunset Stake, and recently served a mission in Zimbabwe, Africa. They will share their experiences of hastening the work of salvation far from home and locally as part of a new senior mission program.

Dan McGraw was born in Delta, Utah and graduated from Bethel High School in Washington. He excelled in sports, especially baseball, and set several strike out records in high school, city, and professional leagues. However, just before he signed a professional baseball contract, he injured his arm. He was a general contractor for forty-five years. Dan and Kathy met while she was doing her medical technology internship in Washington. They have been married for forty-six years and have six married children who live nearby. Kathy was born in Salt Lake City and attended East High School. She graduated from BYU with a degree in medical technology, and, after her children were in school, she worked at the Utah Regional Medical Center laboratory for twenty-three years. Kathy has loved serving in nearly every organization in the Church and was a Provo Temple worker before her mission. She also enjoys gardening, reading, painting, and, most especially, spending time with her grandchildren.
