Utah South Area Multi-Stake Groups for Singles
American Fork
The American Fork group consists of all American Fork stakes. Organized for singles 31 and over.
Sept 13th - 7PM: The September Family Home Evening will be a family event held at the American Fork East Stake Center (825 East 500 North in American Fork) on Monday, September 13, 2010.
Time 7:00 pm
Activities will include a spiritual thought and lesson on the Humanitarian Aid program of the church.
We will then work on the humanitarian service effort in a variety of projects under the direction of Roseanne Gunther.
Families are Welcome! After the lesson, while the adults work on the humanitarian aid projects, there will be activities for the younger children. Refreshments will be served. A great evening for the whole family to learn about and participate in the humanitarian effort to relieve the suffering of the world’s people. All interested singles are invited to attend and help with the project.

Instructors: Bill and Apryl Cox: The Cox’s are long time residents of American Fork. Bill is currently employed as a social worker and bereavement coordinator for two hospice organizations. As a professional genealogist, April conducts client research, teachers and lectures. Both served for seven years as temple workers in the Provo and Mt. Timpanogos temples. They love the outdoors and spend their Saturdays and vacations hiking or snow shoeing.

Pleasant Grove North Field
The Pleasant Grove North Field group consists of 10 stakes, (Pleasant Grove North Field, Alpine, Alpine North, Alpine West, Cedar Hills, Highland, Highland East, Highland South, Highland West and Pleasant Grove Manila). Organized for singles 31 and over.
Every second Monday there is a Family Home Evening held at the Pleasant Grove Manila Stake Center (map) that is north of the Timpanogos Temple (950 East 850 North American Fork). The parking lots are adjacent. A single adult (31 and over) family home evening will be held on Monday evening.
There is a wonderful single adult CES (Preach my Gospel) class held each Thursday evening at 7:00 in the Seminary building next to American Fork High School. There is a wealth of good information for those who attend.
August 17th @ 6:30PM - Canyon Escape The Pleasant Grove Manila Stake will host a "Canyon Escape" pot luck dinner for the P.G. Northfield cluster on Tuesday, August 17th at 6:30 PM, held at Mutual Dell, (located in American Fork Canyon) just a few miles past Timpanogos Cave. The inspiration for this activity comes from a deep seated need to smell the campfires, hear the rushing water, and feel the canyon breezes at least once a year. Add to that the opportunity to meet and spend time with good friends and enjoy fun food and some fun surprises and you will have definitely connected with the amazing natural surroundings that we have been blessed with before Summer is gone. Bring your favorite dish to share. We'll supply the paper goods, drinks and treats. Don't miss out.
September 13th @ 6:30PM - A Prophet and a Man "A Prophet and a Man: The Spiritual and Human Side of Joseph Smith". The presenter is Alex Baugh, Associate Professor or Church History at Brigham Young University. His biography can be read here http://religion.byu.edu/Alex_Baugh

TEMPLE OUTING: On Saturday October 9, we will attend the MT. Timpanogos Temple. We will meet at 6:50 AM (we leave at 7:00 AM sharp). and carpool to the temple. After the session we will go to Breakfast. This is alot of fun. Meet at 400 E. 500 N. in pleasant Grove.
Mid-singles FHE: All Family Home Evenings will be held at Cambria Clubhouse ( 170 North 1300 West (Proctor Lane) Pleasant Grove).

After the classes, the rec hall will be open for seeing all the good displays & demos. Then we'll have foods to taste & mingle. There will be a swap meet, so be thinking about things you have multiples of or no longer need. (Books, small bottles, egg cartons, foam...) that you are willing to trade.
